The Rolex Daytona 116518LN is one of the more distinctive versions of the modern Daytona. Made from 18ct yellow gold and paired with Rolex’s Oysterflex bracelet, it has a very different character from a traditional gold Daytona.
This particular watch is known by collectors as the ‘Pikachu’, a nickname inspired by its bright yellow gold case and Champagne dial.
The 40mm case remains true to the classic Daytona proportions. The black Cerachrom bezel is another important part of the design. It gives the watch a sportier appearance while also providing a strong contrast against the yellow gold.
